Hey folks. I keep hearing about smart escape rooms that run themselves: automatic resets, hint systems, sensors that track progress. We’re a small team, and resetting three rooms between bookings is killing us. Does anyone use smart technology props that really reduce staff workload? On busy weekends we run back-to-back bookings, and my staff is exhausted by evening.

Reset time was our biggest bottleneck too. We upgraded to smart technology escape room props https://erworkshop.com/escapes/puzzles-and-props/ from Indestroom in our busiest room, and it changed the flow. Props reset themselves with one command from the control panel, the system shows which puzzles are solved, and hints can go out automatically. Resets went from about fifteen minutes to five. They also have fully self-restarting room formats if you want to go further. Not going to lie, it’s a bigger upfront investment than classic props. But when you calculate staff hours saved on a busy weekend, it pays for itself. Tip: start with your most booked room, that’s where the savings show up fastest.
