I had my Q50’s battery replaced about a week ago because it was struggling to start consistently, and while the actual starting problem seems resolved for the most part, I’ve noticed the push start button itself is acting a bit inconsistent now, sometimes requiring two presses before the car actually starts, which is a new behavior I didn’t experience before this whole battery issue started in the first place, does anyone know if this could be a leftover symptom from the battery being weak for a while before replacement, like maybe something related to the button module needed a full power cycle to reset properly, or is this actually a separate issue entirely that just happened to appear around the same time and needs its own diagnosis, I don’t want to assume everything’s connected to the battery if this is genuinely something different that coincidentally showed up during the same general timeframe, while trying to figure out if I should go back to whoever did the replacement or look elsewhere I found information about premium Infiniti battery replacement in Industrial Area 9 which seemed to specifically mention proper post replacement system checks, which made me wonder if maybe a step got missed originally that could explain this new inconsistency I’m experiencing now, has anyone had a similar experience where a new battery seemed to resolve the main issue but left behind some smaller electronic quirk that took a bit longer to manifest or notice, and if so was that ultimately traced back to the battery replacement process itself, or something completely unrelated, also should I go back to the original shop first to have them check their work, or would it make more sense to get an independent opinion to see if they can identify what’s causing this from a neutral perspective, I don’t want to keep dealing with intermittent quirks without understanding if this is actually related to what already got fixed, so if anyone’s experienced this kind of lingering issue after a battery replacement, I’d appreciate hearing what it turned out to be for you.
