My Tucson’s steering has felt vague for a few weeks now, like there’s a dead spot in the middle and I’m constantly making small corrections on the highway. It’s not dangerous yet but it’s tiring to drive and it’s getting worse. I took it to a general garage and they said everything looked fine, which didn’t fill me with confidence since they clearly just glanced at it. I came across royalprinceautocare.com/brands/hyundai while looking for someone who actually knows Hyundais, and it seems more focused than the places I’ve tried. Has anyone had vague steering on a Tucson and what was the cause? I’m wondering if it’s the steering rack, tie rods or just an alignment issue, and I’d rather not keep guessing.
