Had my battery replaced about ten days ago because it kept dying on me. Since then the car has been acting strange. The clock resets randomly, one of the seat memory settings wiped itself, and twice the infotainment screen has taken ages to boot up. Nothing catastrophic but it’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder if something wasn’t coded properly during the swap. I read somewhere that these cars need the battery registered to the car’s system otherwise charging behaves oddly, and I’m starting to think the place that did mine just dropped it in and sent me on my way. I was looking at https://caracrepairsharjah.ae/brands/rolls-royce/ while searching for someone who actually understands the electronics on these, but before I book anything I wanted to see if anyone else has had this after a battery change and whether it settled down on its own or needed proper coding.
