I like how the progression is what keeps the game interesting instead of relying only on quick battles. That kind of gradual improvement is also a big part of what makes games like Minecraft enjoyable, especially when you start with basic tools and slowly build better gear, farms, and larger projects. Different genres handle progression in different ways, but giving players something new to work toward usually makes the experience much more rewarding.
